Meet emily

My name is Emily Castillo, and my approach to care starts with meeting you exactly where you are. As a university-educated, functional medicine–certified ARNP, I bring nearly 20 years of clinical experience, including the last 15 years entirely in Endocrinology.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2007) and Master of Science in Nursing (2012) from Seattle University, and completed my Functional Medicine certification in 2025. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong focus on endocrinology.

For the past 15 years, I’ve managed and led a high-volume endocrinology clinic within a multispecialty private practice. My experience includes treating a wide range of endocrine conditions, directing an insulin pump program within a certified diabetes center, and providing telemedicine services across Washington and Oregon-including rural outpatient hospitals.

As a working mom in perimenopause, I bring both clinical insight and personal experience to my approach—I’ve seen firsthand the impact that thoughtful, specialized hormone therapy can have on quality of life and I believe in it.
